Where Can I Worship?

Church members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as teaching a Sunday School class, to preparing the church bulletins. It begins in our own community, and spreads throughout the world. We invite you to come and experience first-hand the ministries and fellowship of First Baptist.

Sunday School Classes

We offer Sunday School classes for all ages, including nursery, 2- and 3-year-old, preschool, primary, juniors, teens, college and career, and adults.

Youth Group

We have great youth leaders in Mr. and Mrs. Mark and Karrie Sherman, who have a heart for the youth ministry. Along with Sunday school class and Wednesday evening Bible study they have various youth activities throughout the year, including retreats and summer camp.

Kids Ministries
We have many ministries for the children including Wednesday night programs (King’s Kids during the school year, Patch the Pirate Club during summer vacation), Sunday school, VBS, and Christmas programs.

Ladies’ Bible study

Every other Tuesday evening throughout the school year our ladies get together for a time of fellowship and studying the Bible while encouraging each other. Our Pastor’s wife Tanya leads the Bible study.

Men’s Bible study

Every Tuesday opposite of the ladies bible study the men come together for a time of bonding and spiritual recharging. Pastor Fennell leads our bible study which grounded in biblical principles.

Marriage Counseling

Marriages can be difficult to maintain. Misunderstanding, confusion, resentment, and anger can flare up in any marriage. Our Pastor and his wife are gifted in listening, understanding, helping, and encouraging struggling couples, and have, by God’s grace, saved marriages and repaired relationships. Couples have found fresh hope and new joy in a warm and fulfilling relationship with their spouse.

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Wednesday, the church comes together for a special time of prayer and Bible study. This is a time to share what requests you have and to minister to each other in prayer. It is a real time of blessing.
